Step outside to find strength within
You’re invited to get outside and explore America’s public lands. This is your call to connect with nature. From hiking to kayaking, adaptive outdoor sports, to walking in local parks, this month-long challenge is designed to get all Veterans outdoors and in motion. Even a moment of mindfulness under the open sky counts. It’s about discovering the power of nature, exploring our public lands, and the strength of community.
Here’s what the outdoors can do for you:
🌿Reduce stress and calm the nervous system
❤️ Improve heart health and physical fitness
😊 Boost mood and mental clarity
🧠 Support emotional resilience and recovery
🦅 Build connection through shared adventure
