Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay are Navy Veteran Thomas Joyce and Army Veteran Elaine Joyce, who met and were married while serving in World War II. Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is a special Valentines Day story honoring Army Veteran Elaine N. Joyce and Navy Veteran Thomas F. Joyce. The Joyces served during World War II from 1945 to 1946 and from 1943 to 1947, respectively. [From VA News]

Have you ever had any aches or pains in your lower back? If so, you are not alone! Low back pain is a very common complaint, including among the Veteran population. An important strategy to care for low back pain includes finding ways to move the body, though that can sometimes feel challenging when you’re in pain. Some Veterans have found relief from low back pain by practicing different complementary and integrative health (CIH) techniques, such as acupuncture, yoga, Tai Chi and massage therapy. [From VA News]
