In recognition of Patient Ambassador Day which was on November 29 of this year, we’d like to recognize our Red Coat Ambassadors. Red Coat Ambassadors are volunteers and employees who provide a positive, personal first impression for those visiting VA Medical Centers. The Red Coat Ambassador (RCA) program is a standardized Veteran “navigator” initiative within VHA that seeks to standardize assistance with medical center navigation, information, and a culture of care.​ If you would like to learn more about becoming a Red Coat Ambassador, ask for the volunteer office at your local VA Medical Center.
