Watch the unstoppable determination of over 500 Veterans representing 98 VA facilities. They convened in the spirit of community, camaraderie, and friendly competition at the 2024 National Veterans Wheelchair Games, July 25-30, in New Orleans. The Wheelchair Games, co-presented yearly by U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Paralyzed Veterans of America, is the world’s largest annual wheelchair rehabilitation sports event solely for military Veterans living with disabilities.

VRCN Community Partners and VSO’s joined at the 2024 National convening to discuss how VA and community partners can work better together to support Veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors during transition. During this national convening, VA and community experts discussed priorities, promising practices, challenges, State and County resources, Transition Assistance, Mental Health, Employment, and Readjustment Counseling.
