Start the New Year Building your Caregiving Community

We’ve all heard the term – New Year, New You, – but what about embracing 2022 with “New Year, New Caregiver Connections”?

If connecting with fellow caregivers is one of your New Year’s goals, sign up today to get support from the Building Better Caregivers® (BBC) six-week online workshop. Meet other caregivers who share similar challenges and learn new ways to reduce stress, improve communication with your care partner and discover self-care techniques to reach your goals.

Hear firsthand from a caregiver about the benefits of connecting and creating a community:

“I was able to access it whenever I wanted, and I felt more comfordiv from my home. I felt I had great interaction from other caregivers going through the same things as me.  We were able to bond over that and I learned how to change my thinking, have more patience and to keep my head held high!” -Kerri, BBC Graduate

The BBC workshop is self-paced. You can log in anytime during the week your workshop begins and access:

  • Weekly lessons and resources for caregivers.
  • Tools and techniques to help you improve your relationship with the Veteran for
     whom you provide care.
  • Guidance from workshop facilitators and support from caregivers just like you.
  • Ongoing support after the workshop ends, including an alumni network.
